In the Summer More Children are at Risk of Hunger

The summer months are especially hard on the 268,000 children who particpate in the Free Lunch program throughout our region.    These children reside in the 10 counties Philabundance serves including: Bucks, Chester , Delaware , Montgomery , and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania and Burlington , Camden , Gloucester , Mercer and Salem Counties in New Jersey. Once school is out, these children may struggle to find enough food at home.
