 Deloitte Employees Day of Service at Philabundance
If you try to reach a Deloitte employee on IMPACT Day, a phone call or email probably won’t suffice. You’ll have to go into the community to find them. To celebrate and showcase year-round community involvement activities, many Deloitte member firms designate a day of service, IMPACT Day, to making an impact on the communities where they work and live. Firms often choose to hold their IMPACT Day events in June, the start of the global fiscal year.
107 Deloitte employees volunteered at Philabundance's Galloway Street and Berks Street locations on Friday, June 8th. They painted, cleaned, filed, gardened, and sorted.
Leaving the office, conference calls and emails behind, Deloitte employees put their passion, determination and skills to use. They take part in a variety of community investment activities, such as teaching business and economics to school children. Other community activities include gardening, cleaning public facilities and holding fundraisers.
