Walk Against Hunger 2007
About 3,500 caring individuals who came out to the Philadelphia Art Museum on April 14th to Walk Against Hunger.
The Walk Against Hunger, a six-mile walk organized by the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger, brings people together to raise funds that assist struggling families in our region with food. The money raised is distributed to organizations throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey that provide food and other services to families and individuals.
As a member of the Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger, and the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization, Philabundance turned out in force On Saturday, April 14th
This year Philabundance introduced the Kids Teams sponsored by the M. Night Shyamalan Foundation, Wawa and Yardville Bank. The teams are made up of children ages five to 18 from member agencies and area school districts.
