PHILADELPHIA– US Airways has committed to join Philabundance by sponsoring the Philabundance truck fleet. Through US Airways' sponsorship, it joins the region's largest hunger relief organization with $100,000 in financial support.

Philabundance works to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley by acquiring food and distributing it through organizations serving people in need.

"Philabundance cannot carry out its mission without the generous support of individuals and organizations like US Airways. These monies will go a long way to help provide nutritious meals to the growing number of people seeking hunger relief in the Delaware Valley," said Bill Clark, Philabundance's executive director. -- Staff and wire reports
