Barilla Continues Support to Nation's Food Banks

Barilla has supported the America's Second Harvest Network with product donations since 1997. In an effort to increase awareness around hunger in America and to support the work of the America's Second Harvest Network, Barilla created their "Celebrity Pasta Lovers’ Cookbook".

Barilla has reached out to 10 celebrities from film, television and fashion to share their favorite pasta recipes. These recipes served as the inspiration for new recipes created by Mario Batali and Giada De Laurentiis – two of the country’s most celebrated Italian chefs. Contributing celebrities include Kristin Davis, Harrison Ford, Pierce Brosnan, Melinda Clark, Faith Ford, Sela Ward, Tyson Beckford, Ashley Judd, Tony Danza and Annabella Sciorra. In addition, Mario and Giada share their favorite recipes as well.

The cookbook will be available to download free of charge at www.CelebrityPastaLovers.com throughout the month of February. For every person who downloads this cookbook, Barilla will donate $1 to America's Second Harvest, up to $100,000. On the site, customers will have the choice of donating dollars to the America's Second Harvest national office or to the Network Member closest to them. A drop down menu will be provided to help customers locate which Network Member is in their area.
