“Haunted House for Hunger” is a Gold Award project.  This project was chosen to raise awareness of the hungry and malnourished in the tri-county area, with an emphasis on the nutritional needs of children.  Many people in our area are at or below the poverty level and are having issues providing food for their family on a daily basis.  Due to the economic issues that are occurring in our area, food banks have very low food reserves.  This is a growing problem that is not going away.
